Palma di Mallorca

Palma di Mallorca is part of the autonomous community of the Spanish Balearic Islands, and has a population of 347,000. It is the largest city and port of the island of Majorca and is located on the south-west coast of the island. Palma is the most important port and commercial centre of the Balearic Islands. It is one of Europe's best well-known resorts, and its international airport is the third busiest airport in Spain. Craft industries and the manufacture of furniture and textiles supplement the tourism industry. Palma di Mallorca is part of a Larger Urban Zone (LUZ) of 879,000 inhabitants.
